Player Rules

1. Don't be a dick. This means treat your fellow players with respect and courtesy. Don't godmode, don't guilt someone into playing a thread with you, communicate with others when there is a problem. If the problem persists, come to the mods.

2. Players must be 18 to play smut. No exceptions. If you are caught lying about your age in order to play smut, that is grounds for instant removal from the game.

3. Warn appropriately for post and thread content. Label your threads appropriately and please lock all sexual threads to the comm.


Character Rules

1. Stay IC. Of course characters will change and grow over time but stay true to who the character is. They should still be recognizable.

2. All character journals must have an HMD and a means for ooc contact. You don't have to allow anonymous comments on your HMD but it must be in your journal. Plurk is not required but recommended.

3. Three is the maximum number of characters any one person can have in game. This rule may change in the future but for now, three is the maximum. You may only app one character per application round.

4. 20 comments is required for AC every month. These can be spread out over a maximum of three threads and can be first person or third.

Is there a network? As of the moment, no. Whether there will be one in the future depends on plot and player interest.

Is there a plot? Yes. Information about the plot will be revealed at a later date. For now, focus on settling in and meeting your new friends! You'll be stuck with them for a while, after all...

What time period is this in? Modern day.

Where will my character sleep/bathe/eat/go to the bathroom? Right now, the only areas unlocked are the gym, the locker rooms (which have bathrooms and running water) and the cafeteria (which has a magically replenishing amount of food). As far as sleeping, there are some tumbling mats in the gym. First come, first serve.

Are powers allowed? Depends on the power. If it can be used to get out, it's gone. If it's primary purpose is to fight, it's gone. More benign powers stay. Example? Healing powers stay. Powers will be examined on a case-by-case basis.

Can't we just smash the windows to get out? Nope. Besides being covered in bloody handprints, the windows are unbreakable.

What characters can I app? Fandom characters and fandom ocs (meaning characters that are customizable, ie Hawke from Dragon Age II).

What about AUs, doubles, mythological characters or history figures? CRAUs are allowed, but that's the only AU we will accept. Doubles are not allowed unless they appear in two different canons and there is enough of a difference between the two to constitute different characters. (Example: Squall and Leon from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts would be fine.) Real people are a no. Mythological figures can be applied as fandom ocs, ala Loki from Marvel.

Is there an age limit on characters? Characters can be any age, but keep in mind this is a horror game. While apping a five year old is allowed, it is probably not the best idea. Characters must be 16 or older in order to be involved in smut logs.

Can I canon update? Yes! Please put a note on the application page with the information about the canon update so the mods know what's going on. What will happen in-game is your character will disappear for 1-3 days, and return to their own world with no memories of what happened in-game, then reappear in the gym with their new canon update.

What are the hiatus rules? In order to skip AC, your hiatus must be at least a week long and must be posted at least a week before AC.

What happens if I drop/idle out? When your character is dropped, they disappear! Very mysterious.

Will there be an HMD? Every month during AC time, there will be an HMD post. It is optional. You must still have an HMD in your journal but how you manage it is up to you.

The Gym

The gym is where it all begins. Upon arrival, your character will wake up in the gym. In the gym is sports equipment, of course, basketball nets, tumbling mats and a climbing rope. The windows are high up and covered in what looks like red paint... until you get close enough to see that they're actually covered in bloody handprints. Attached to the gym are the locker rooms.


The Locker Rooms

The locker rooms have bathroom stalls with running water, so no need to worry about waste build-up. There are also showers in the locker rooms. The lockers are, naturally, locked, some impossible to open, some holding disturbing items such as massive amounts of hair, most... empty.


The Cafeteria

Also connected to the gym is the cafeteria. It is full of just enough food to feed everyone every day. A nutritionally balanced lunch of rubbery mac and cheese and frozen milk for all!
